主讲人简介：

李猛博士，现任美国罗格斯大学商学院的副教授，毕业于美国德克萨斯大学达拉斯分校。担任Production and Operations Management的Senior Editor和Decision Sciences Journal的副主编。李猛教授在Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management等发表了接近20篇文章，是40岁以下华人中为数不多的能在UTD24期刊中高产出的学者。他的研究兴趣主要集中在行为偏差、不完全信息决策等方面。

内容提要：

Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the operating process of a large number of companies as well as our lifestyle. The advances of machine learning techniques (especially deep learning) enable AI-based algorithms, machines, and systems to perform more tasks. In this paper, we review the current research on AI from a micro perspective. First, we discuss the application research about AI in four different scenarios (i.e., operations management, healthcare, human resources, and city governance). Next, we explore discrimination issues in AI-based algorithms and the potential reasons as well as solutions. Last, we review how do humans perceive the AI technologies or algorithms, and then make a conclusion.

最近，人工智能（AI）正在改变大量公司的运营流程以及我们的生活方式。机器学习技术（尤其是深度学习）的进步使得基于AI的算法、机器和系统能够执行更多的任务。在讲座中，我们将从微观角度回顾了目前关于人工智能的研究。包括讨论关于AI在四个不同场景（即运营管理、医疗、人力资源和城市治理）的应用研究；讨论基于人工智能算法中的歧视问题，以及潜在的原因以及解决方案；最后，回顾了人类是如何看待人工智能技术或算法。
